Arson & Criminal Damage Arrest |
| We detained a suspect responsible for causing real distress to local residents - specifically, within the Burns Flats. Hiding under the bed won’t stop us from doing our job. The suspect has now been interviewed and will be dealt with appropriately. |
Closure Notice Served |
| Following reports of ongoing nuisance at 9 Chainama Close, we have been engaging with our housing and council partners. This work has resulted in commander Hayes authorising a Closure Notice for the property under s.76 of the Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014. The notice was served on the property yesterday at 15:35 by Sergeant Walters, and a hearing will take place today at Leicester Magistrates Court. |
Speeding Awareness |
Needless to say, speeding puts lives at risk. Today we stopped two drivers exceeding the limit outside a school, of all places.
